This is a paid job that will last for a year. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience, learn from experts in the field, and help with important marketing projects in the B2B food, flavors, and ingredients business.

• ZAR4500 per month

Responsibilities for Marketing Internship:

• Help with marketing campaigns: Help plan, run, and keep track of marketing programs that are aimed at important customers.
• Market Research: Do market research and analysis to find new customers, learn about industry trends, and figure out how your competitors are doing. Give insights and suggestions based on the study results to help people make decisions.
• Making content: Help us make content that will get people interested in our goods and services. Work with the marketing team to make marketing materials, presentations, sales materials, and documents for the product.
• Event Coordination: Help plan and run trade shows, industry events, and talks to customers. Help coordinate logistics, booth setup, promotional materials, and events that happen after the event.
• Marketers are responsible for creating and implementing strategies that attract, engage, and retain customers in order to achieve organizational goals.
• The marketer is responsible for developing and overseeing content for a variety of online and offline mediums.
• Work with the product, sales, and customer success groups to create compelling messages and positioning.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in marketing and a desire to learn about B2B marketing in the food and ingredients business.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to make material that is interesting and engaging.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and simple design tools like Canva.
• Having experience with professional design programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus.
• Learn the basics of market research methods and how to analyze data.
• Detail-oriented and good at organizing and doing more than one thing at once.
• Ability to work both on your own and with others as part of a team.
• In a fast-paced field, the ability to change and the willingness to take on new tasks are important.
